Meh, I have little interest right now in seeing a new spider man movie...
This looks unwatchable. I will forever loathe what The Dark Knight did to superhero movies.
That looks super-generic. It's Spiderman with all the sense of fun removed, cause we can't have fun anymore in those superhero movies. They're all so dark and serious and important now. Also, 'The Untold Story'. lol.
I like Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone a lot but I still think it was completely unnecssary to have this made now. The untold story? Yeah right.
Life's too short not to
I am not huge into these type of movies, but this looks very good. It has real scope to it, that other Sam Raimi movies did not have. Way better than that "Avengers" thing which looked like a playstation commercial. I really like Andrew Garfield, as well.![]()
Yes its Nolan's fault for people copying what he did.
~Oh and that trailer? zzzzz
The trailer is okay. I do like Garfield and Stone a lot and Webb was recently talking about the efforts to inject a lot of Spidey's wisecracking sense of humour into the movie, so that sounds encouraging to me. The shots of swinging Spidey also look pretty cool.
But I loathe the Lizard design (yes, I did indeed want the damn labcoat and way more snout) and hate this whole hidden past of his parents thing they're hinting at.
I still hope it works out well, though. I don't think this is going to totally suck or anything, either. I'm just not super excited yet. And that's disappointing for a Spidey flick.
I remember when the comics tried to go into that shit, and I remember it sucking. (Guess what? Those parents back from the dead aint real, they're robots!*)
*=At least that's my faint memory of it. Why does Spider-Man have so many retarded "universe altering" storylines?
Swear to God, if they do a BIG SHOCKING REVEAL that, like, his father had been doing experiments on him and that's why he's Spider-Man and do some bullshit "DESTINY!" thing, I will break something. That would be so goddamn stupid.
And I don't know if giving the Lizard his labcoat would work on film or not, but the snout probably would. At least it wouldn't make him look like the Hulk's inbred cousin with a tail.
This looks very average and really not that different from the first Spiderman movie. I doubt it gets better reviews.
Emma Stone just looks weird as a blonde.
HS
Almost every scene is basically a copy of the first two Spider-Man films.
And come on...unmasked Spider-Man again?
I'm a huge Spidey fan but this looks so uninspired and generic.
Hmm, I actually think that looks really good!
It's funny how two actresses famous for their red hair played Gwen, while an actress who basically started her career as a child actor because of her golden curls played MJ.
Anyway, Garfield and Stone are so perfect for these roles that I really don't want to think this could end up not being very good. But the trailer is average at best. The only part that even resembles Spidey is the "do you honestly think I'm a cop?" dialogue in the car (which Garfield delivers perfectly).
Had a chance to see this trailer yesterday at one of the Amazing Spider-Man Events they did in NYC and I really enjoyed it (the 3D looks great). I wasn't too excited to see Spider-Man rebooted beforehand but I am now (God, with this and The Avengers TV Spot I'm starting to sound like a stupid plant but I really am more excited for these films now)!
so this is Spider-Man: The Hipster version
really have no interest in see another flick like this![]()
There's something wrong with this signature.
Can you find that ONE mistake?
