DKC is still awesome in my book. Truely fun, witty platformer, and the sequel is even better.
    Movies recently reviewed by RRA:

    Star Trek (2009)
    Pain & Gain (2013)
    Oblivion (2013)
    Jurassic Park III (2001)
The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)

The New RRA: Less Spam, still 100% ruining AD.

Anyway, originally, the 4th case was the end of PW:AA, but when it was ported from GBA to DS, they added a wholly new case, #5. Which is why it's not really tied into the rest of the game, and kind of feels almost like a game unto itself. If you weren't aware, the sequels Justice for All and Trials and Tribulations are available on WiiWare, which I recommend, as it might be hard to come by a physical copy of either. Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is totally worth it, too, an awesome spin-off, especially if you think Edgeworth is awesome (AS ANY SANE PERSON WOULD). And today actually, I just finished Ghost Trick, an adventure/puzzle game created by Shu Takami (who created the Ace Attorney series). If you can find a copy (I had a little difficulty), it's a blast.
Thanks for the headsup! Yeah, I didn't realize the 2nd & 3rd games were OOP until I tried looking for them on GameStop's inventory search. I was thinking they added Case #5 in order to tie it into the sequel...I didn't realize that's where the original GBA version ended.

Has anyone here played the games on the Wii? It feels so much suited just for the DS.

    RIP NIntendo Power

I'll forever thank Power for many things, one being doing comic adaptations of video game storylines and for whatever reason, they were riveting for me at that age. (I specifically remember them adapting ZELDA: A LINK TO THE PAST.)

Oh and the Contra Code too, of course.
Darn it. I finally fufilled a childhood dream and subscribed to the magazine 1-2 months ago!

I have played the first two Phoenix Wright games on the Wii, and while it's not really the right format, it's not terrible.

There's that new 3DS game from the makers of Fatal Frame called Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir that I wanna get, but I don't want to get another DS system when my DS Lite (since I have SO many DS + GBA games) is just fine.

However, I did hear that they were going to stop making DS games soon, and just focus on 3DS...

My lack of excitement of AAA games this year is quite unsettling ... it wasn't too log ago where I can get anticipated for Batman, Dragon Age, Skyrim, Mass Effect, Uncharted, and a ton of other games. For some reason this year the only AAA I am getting excited for is Borderlands 2 and (a very Maybe) Resident Evil 6.

I bought Dragon's Dogma it's an unplayable dud so that was money flushed down the drain.

It looks like I might pick up an HD collection like Zone of the Enders or that ICO Collection since there aren't that many exciting titles to get.

I have ICO. Colossus is great, frame-rate is super solid. Not a big fan of ICO, though. It's plusses are numerous but the combat and controls are just so bland/frustrating it makes it a dull experience.

I haven't played a Pokemon game since like...Blue/Red? Oh wait, Yellow! However, someone did get me Pokemon Platinum for my birthday last year but I've yet to play it.

I'm excited for the release of Just Dance 4 today! PLUS, oddly enough, they partnered with Cheetos this time so now I have to buy two different Cheetos bags to unlock two limited bonus tracks...

Coolinout, trust me, White 2 or Black 2 is the best. It's the pinnacle of the Pokemon game form so far. Although, Platinum is pretty good and you should totally play it.

If by chance you're in the San Diego, CA area the SD Asian Film Festival will be screening the movie TWICE, this Sunday and Monday:

Playing RE6 right now, I finished Chris' campaign first since I heard it was the weakest of the three (and it probably is). I just started Leon's campaign and it's already starting out to be much better.

So far it's a very good game, a lot better than the reviews gave it. Sure it feels a bit unpolished but it's an enjoyable game so far. Plus the three campaigns give you an opportunity to want to see how everything unfolds since Chris' campaign gives aboslutley nothing in story though the ending was pretty emotional (if not silly).

Yeah, I'm actually enjoying the game contrary to the reviews it got. I played Leon's story first (pretty fun) and my sister & I just finished Jake's story (gotta love that awkward locker-room scene!). Haven't started Chris' story yet, and I think you unlock Ada's story once you finish all 3.

Has anyone played Dragon Age? I'm intrigued by the great reviews and sort of hankering for another RPG.

    This.

Dragons Age is to me the most disappointing thing that came out of one of my favourite developers, Bioware. Its clunky, ugly, and just boring. And although I do prefer the controls in Dragon Age 2, the sequel is just as boring, and worse, linear.

In other news, am I the only one who bought a Wii U here? I love New Super Mario Bro's U, the best New Mario Bro's came since the original DS, mainly because of the awesome Challenge Mode!

My cousin played it and he said that while it was fun, he finished it so quickly.

Currently playing the first Dead Space due to a GameStop employee telling me it's "the only game that made me drop my controller...three times."

Also playing Cold Fear on the PS2 and wow, I kinda got motion sickness due to the rocking of the boat, but it is providing me with some scares.

This is pretty much the best compliment a game can get now-a-days. Out with the bloat!
